What is a concierge practice?

A medical practice with a reduced number of patients compared to a traditional medical practice. Therefore, providing increased access, attention, and personalized service for the patient.

What is the difference between a traditional practice versus a concierge practice?

Good Pediatrics is able to allow for highly personalized care and to provide more time with each patient. You will never feel rushed. We provide extended office visits to take the time to listen to you and discuss your child's development, your concerns, and the overall health of your child. There is little to no waiting in office before seeing the doctor. Same Day appointments available for sick children. Around-the-clock communication with Dr. Good is available; call or text anytime, day or night, weekends or holidays. Telemedicine appointments are available to those travelling, working or unable to come in to the office.

Does Good Pediatrics accept insurance?

We do not accept insurance. However, if your insurance provides out of network benefits they may reimburse you for visits and services we provide. We encourage you to contact your insurance provider for your policy's specific details.

Does my child need health insurance if we choose your practice?

Every child and every family has different circumstances. You may choose to try a different type of plan for your family such as a catastrophic or high deductible plan. Please consult with an advisor from your current insurance provider.

We don't get sick very often. Is it worth the money?

The peace of mind that comes with knowing your child's physician is just a phone call away is priceless. A parent can never predict when an illness or accident will strike. A phone call or visit with Dr. Good can prevent an unnecessary trip to the emergency room. She can also provide care via the phone if you are out of town on vacation.
